Voting for Captains
This year the voting for captains will be different, from September full membership swimmers will have the opportunity to fill in a nomination form for the role of captain and vice captain. The swimmer needs to be aged 14 years and over from 1st October 2011. Your nomination forms will then be put to a panel and winners will be announced at the Annual General Meeting on 17th Oct.

Poolside Helpers
From September 2011, swimmers aged 13yrs and over will have the opportunity to help on poolside under supervision. Last year some of the classes had too many people helping and it was hard to give them something to do. So this season I am limiting the number to a maximum of 5 people per session, One on each lane and one helping with stroke work etc.  We are also after some assistants to help in the learn to swim section of the club. Please see the notice board for more information or See Sarah.

Parents to Help
We have vacancies in our learn to swim section and length section for any parents who would like to help and learn more skills and finally complete a level one course in either Teaching or Coaching. See Sarah or Pat for more info.

A big thank you goes to everyone who shopped at Tesco's in Burnham on Saturday 16th April. 21 swimmers and Parents helped with our first ever bag packing session, raising £435.00 for the club. The swimmers were some of the best bag packers I have ever seen and very polite. Thanks.
